MEAL Senior Coordinator

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a senior professional to lead its Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) function for its Sudan operations. Reporting to the Programs Director and supported by the Regional Measurement Advisor, the role will contribute to delivering life‑saving services across health, nutrition, WASH, protection and livelihoods. The IRC operates in more than 40 countries and maintains six field bases in Sudan, providing assistance in health, nutrition, environmental health/WASH, protection and economic recovery. The Senior MEAL Coordinator will ensure that program outcomes are measured, reported and translated into actionable learning.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with program and grants teams to integrate MEAL processes into project design and implementation.
• Support data collection, analysis and reporting to inform program decisions and donor requirements.
• Facilitate accountability mechanisms and promote learning across field bases in Sudan.

• Experience working in complex emergency contexts and with multi‑sectoral programmes.
• Ability to work under the supervision of the Programs Director and in partnership with the Regional Measurement Advisor.
