Associate – General Corporate and M&A

About the role

DGKV is seeking a motivated associate to join its General Corporate and M&A practice. The successful candidate will work on a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, and joint ventures, supporting both domestic and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior lawyers in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and transaction documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on corporate, M&A, and related regulatory matters.
• Support due diligence processes and prepare related reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas on cross‑border projects.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Law degree from a Bulgarian university with strong academic performance.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in corporate law or M&A.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in legal English.
