Associate Market Access Specialist (Bulgaria)

About the role

The Angels Initiative, in partnership with IQVIA and Boehringer Ingelheim, is seeking an Associate Market Access Specialist based in Bulgaria. You will help improve stroke care by increasing the number of patients treated in stroke‑ready hospitals and supporting the quality of treatment across existing stroke centres.

Key responsibilities

• Increase efficiency in the management of stroke patients.
• Provide continuous training and organisational tools to hospitals and healthcare professionals.
• Act as a therapeutic consultant, promoting new diagnostic and treatment guidelines.
• Foster quality‑monitoring programmes to maintain consistent hospital performance.
• Expand the project’s reach to new hospitals and lead multidisciplinary stroke teams.
• Enhance therapeutic protocols in major hospitals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably in neuroscience or stroke care.
• Strong scientific background; a PhD in Neuroscience or a related field is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, high motivation, and leadership abilities.
• Fluency in English and Bulgarian.
• Proactive, flexible, and strong problem‑solving capabilities.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
