Director, Global EHS Performance & Systems

About the role

Sensata Technologies seeks a strategic leader to drive global Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) performance and systems. The Director will shape enterprise‑wide EHS governance, strengthen compliance, improve data visibility, and foster a proactive safety culture across a complex manufacturing footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, govern, and continuously improve global EHS management systems, standards, procedures, and work instructions.
• Own the global EHS legal register, regulatory tracking, compliance verification, and reporting governance.
• Oversee audit, assurance, and certification programs, including internal, external, and site‑level audits.
• Manage corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure and effectiveness.
• Lead global processes for Management of Change, Prevention through Design, and pre‑startup EHS reviews.
• Define and maintain the global EHS KPI framework, dashboards, reporting standards, and roll‑ups.
• Supervise the enterprise EHS digital platform for incident, KPI, and action tracking.
• Drive global EHS learning, communication, and culture programs, including the EHS Academy curriculum and best‑practice sharing.
• Partner with EHS Operational Excellence, Sustainability, Facilities, Security, and site teams to provide leadership with reliable performance insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading global EHS governance and management systems in a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, audit processes, and corrective action management.
• Ability to translate data analytics into proactive risk‑based decisions and strategic recommendations.
• Excellent collaboration skills to influence senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
