Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will provide financial insights and analysis to key stakeholders, helping to improve financial performance across Carlsberg's brands. The role supports budgeting, forecasting, business planning and investment optimisation, ensuring accurate and timely financial data.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the annual budget and 3‑year business plan and deliver quarterly estimates.
• Collaborate with functional managers to communicate the financial impact of operational decisions.
• Produce management reports to support decision‑making.
• Analyse actual performance versus budget, forecasts and prior periods.
• Generate ad‑hoc reports, perform sensitivity analyses and participate in projects.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation.
• Maintain rolling forecasts for overheads and OIE, supporting people‑related cost forecasting.
• Deliver accurate OPEX reporting, variance analysis and cost‑optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree and fluency in English.
• Approximately 3 years of controlling experience, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong analytical mindset, high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Ownership and accountability for results.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
