French Speaking Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information Specialist

About the role

This position focuses on reviewing, assessing, and processing safety data for pharmaceutical products. The specialist will work with French‑speaking stakeholders and ensure that adverse event information is captured, coded, and reported in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritise and complete mandatory training and SOP reviews.
• Process safety data according to regulations, SOPs, and project requirements.
• Collect, track, and enter adverse event (AE) information into the safety database.
• Code AEs and products, write case narratives, and support literature‑related activities.
• Maintain case files, monitor quality, and flag issues to senior team members.
• Liaise with project managers, clinical teams, data managers, and healthcare professionals to resolve case‑related queries.
• Mentor new team members when assigned and contribute to departmental initiatives.

Required profile

• Life sciences degree.
• Fluent written and spoken French (C2/native) and strong English proficiency (minimum C1).
• At least 3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or medical information.
• Demonstrated ability to work under SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

Required skills

• Adverse event coding and case narrative writing.
• Knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations and SOPs.
• Ability to use safety databases and follow IQVIA SOPs.
