Internal Audit Specialist – Corporate Internal Audit & Investigations

About the role

Join PALFINGER’s Corporate Internal Audit & Investigations team and support the planning and execution of internal audits and special projects in a dynamic, international environment. You will work on data‑driven analytics, evaluate business processes, and help strengthen internal controls across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the team in planning and performing internal audits and special projects.
• Conduct data‑driven analytics and evaluate business processes from an internal control and compliance perspective.
• Coordinate and manage follow‑up actions for audit findings.
• Support the development and improvement of audit tools and templates.
• Engage in proactive learning to acquire future‑oriented audit competencies.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Experience in audit, accounting, controlling, or IT is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, structured work style, high integrity and discretion.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plus.
