Junior Logistics Analyst

About the role

Louis Dreyfus Company is seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Logistics Analyst to join its Service Data team. The role blends logistics administration, data management, warehouse support, and customer service, acting as a bridge between customers, warehouses, transport providers, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Process and maintain logistics and warehouse‑related data in company systems.
• Create, update, and validate inbound and outbound orders.
• Review transport and shipping documentation for accuracy.
• Monitor shipment status and communicate updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with warehouses, transport providers, customs agents, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage shared mailboxes and respond to customer inquiries promptly.
• Maintain operational trackers, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and drive proactive resolution.
• Participate in process‑improvement and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in a quantitative or logical discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, back‑office operations, or accounting functions.
• Experience in a shared‑services environment is a plus.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem‑solving, and flexibility.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP/CRM/FO or BO systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency with MS‑Office tools.
• Basic programming or app‑development knowledge (beneficial).
