Junior Medical Science Liaison – Bulgaria

About the role

IQVIA is seeking a Junior Medical Science Liaison to support stroke care across Bulgaria. You will work closely with hospitals, emergency medical services and healthcare professionals to improve the management and outcomes of stroke patients.

Key responsibilities

• Increase efficiency in the management of stroke patients.
• Provide continuous training and organizational tools to hospitals, EMS and clinicians.
• Promote new diagnostic and treatment guidelines as an expert Therapeutic Consultant.
• Implement quality monitoring programs to ensure consistent performance of hospitals and EMS.
• Expand the project’s reach to additional hospitals.
• Lead multidisciplinary stroke teams through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Enhance therapeutic protocols in major hospitals.

Required profile

• Strong scientific background, ideally a PhD in Neuroscience.
• High motivation with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Fluency in English and Bulgarian.
• Solution‑oriented, resilient and able to operate in fast‑paced environments.
• Experience working with healthcare organizations and professionals.
• Proactive attitude toward process and outcome improvement.
• Valid driving licence, experienced driver, and willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
• Eligibility to work full‑time in Bulgaria.
