Kitting and Inventory Associate

About the role

The Kitting and Inventory Associate assembles, organizes, and packages component kits for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards. This position supports the supply chain of a leading life‑science service company by maintaining precise inventory records and preparing kits for both domestic and international delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and assemble components into kits according to detailed instructions and specifications.
• Label each component and kit box clearly for rapid identification.
• Print and apply all required shipping and tracking labels.
• Verify quantities, expiry dates, and quality of each component before packaging.
• Order consumables and packing materials needed for kit assembly.
• Perform routine inventory control and quality‑check activities.
• Maintain organized storage of kit components and update inventory trackers regularly.
• Receive inbound shipments, record them in the warehouse management system, and assist with unpacking.
• Document kit assembly details, including lot numbers and expiry dates, in tracker files.
• Book couriers, prepare shipment documentation, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Generate ad‑hoc reports from kitting databases as required.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise assembly instructions.
• Organized and capable of managing multiple inventory records simultaneously.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external couriers.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment and handle physical materials safely.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems for inventory management.
• Proficiency in using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Familiarity with inventory tracking software.
• Ability to operate label‑printing equipment.
