People & Culture Local Services Consultant – Bulgaria

About the role

As a People & Culture Local Services Consultant you will support the full employee lifecycle for SAP employees in Bulgaria. You will act as a trusted HR partner, handling inquiries, administering HR processes and coordinating payroll activities while ensuring compliance with local labour law.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day HR operations across the employee lifecycle.
• Collect, prepare and validate payroll data for the external payroll provider.
• Administer contract changes, time‑management, absences, benefits, onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Prepare employment certificates, verification letters and other HR documents.
• Provide second‑level support to employees and managers while meeting SLA targets.
• Maintain HR portal content and handle employment changes with the National Revenue Agency.
• Support HR activities during organisational restructurings.
• Participate in local and global HR projects, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably in HR Operations or Personnel Administration.
• Experience supporting payroll processes and coordinating with payroll providers.
• Strong knowledge of Bulgarian labour law and HR processes.
• Fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and handle confidential information.
• Experience in multinational, cross‑cultural environments.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Knowledge of SAP HR systems (nice to have).
• Project management experience.
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
