Project Manager – Interactive Response Technology (IRT)

About the role

ICON plc is seeking a Project Manager to lead the implementation and management of Interactive Response Technology (IRT) solutions for clinical trials. The role ensures IRT systems are delivered on time, meet regulatory standards, and support efficient trial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver IRT projects aligned with clinical trial requirements and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with clinical operations, technology specialists, and other cross‑functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress to achieve successful outcomes.
• Facilitate clear communication and stakeholder engagement, addressing issues promptly.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in IRT technologies to drive innovation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, project management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven project‑management experience in clinical research, specifically with IRT systems.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience managing cross‑functional teams in a matrix environment.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
