Senior Accountant – Record to Report (Czech)

About the role

The Senior Accountant will join dormakaba's Record‑to‑Report tower for Europe, supporting finance operations while leveraging Czech language skills. You will ensure accurate month‑end closing, reporting and process compliance, and help drive continuous improvement across the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned tasks on time, proactively address issues and support resolution.
• Apply and uphold finance process standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to ensure timely transaction processing.
• Identify inefficiencies, propose improvements and update high‑quality process documentation.
• Perform month‑end closing activities, reconciliations, fixed‑asset calculations, journal entries and accruals.
• Process and reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Prepare balance sheets, P&L statements and other financial management reports.
• Monitor service delivery against SLAs and KPIs, coordinating with internal and external partners.
• Support the Service Delivery Lead with additional initiatives and promote dormakaba’s culture.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in shared services or BPO environments.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and end‑to‑end finance processes.
• Excellent communication in English and Czech.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
