Senior EP Mapping Specialist – Affera™ System

About the role

Medtronic’s Cardiac Ablation Solutions business is seeking a Senior EP Mapping Specialist to drive adoption of the Affera™ Mapping and Ablation System across Bulgaria. Based in Bulgaria, you will work directly with electrophysiology laboratories, physicians, and internal teams to ensure successful clinical implementation and long‑term customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support during electrophysiology mapping and ablation procedures using the Affera™ system.
• Deliver product education, procedural training, and in‑service programs for physicians and laboratory staff.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert, identifying and resolving technical and clinical issues in customer accounts.
• Support new site activations, product launches, and onboarding activities.
• Collaborate with customers to optimise procedural workflows for safe and efficient system use.
• Partner with internal commercial, clinical, and education teams to meet territory objectives.
• Conduct market assessments and competitive analyses to uncover growth opportunities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product developments, clinical evidence, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Medical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical electrophysiology experience.
• At least 1 year of independent support for electrophysiology mapping procedures.
• Fluency in English and Bulgarian.
• Valid driving licence.
