Senior Operations Buyer

About the role

Cargill is seeking a Senior Operations Buyer to support sourcing activities across one or more categories or locations. The role will manage end‑to‑end procurement transactions, maintain supplier relationships, and help implement strategic sourcing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement transactions ensuring compliance with strategic sourcing policies.
• Facilitate implementation of sourcing strategies and process improvements.
• Maintain performance metrics and documentation at the local level.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement procedures and generate summary reports.
• Validate vendor data, perform compliance checks, and prevent duplicate vendor profiles.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and handle moderate to complex procurement issues.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in procurement or invoice‑to‑pay processes.
• Fluency in English.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Experience working in shared‑service operations.

Required skills

• SAP experience (advantageous).
• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
