Senior Road Freight Forwarder

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Road Freight Forwarder to lead the planning and execution of domestic and international road freight shipments. The role involves coordinating with carriers, customers and partners to ensure efficient, on‑time delivery while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate road freight shipments across multiple markets.
• Communicate with carriers, customers and logistics partners to confirm bookings and resolve issues.
• Negotiate transport rates, optimise routes and monitor cost efficiency.
• Track shipments, manage exceptions and guarantee timely deliveries.
• Prepare, verify and maintain all required transport documentation.
• Address operational challenges promptly and provide proactive customer support.

Required profile

• Proven experience in road freight forwarding or logistics management.
• Strong organisational abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Capacity to handle several shipments simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
