Social Media Coordinator and Strategist

About the role

We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator and Strategist to join a fast‑paced, fully remote digital media team. Based in Bulgaria, you will manage daily content across major platforms, ensuring timely, engaging posts that align with brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and publish daily content on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube, covering breaking news, evergreen, discussion, and high‑performing recirculated posts.
• Coordinate with social media and editorial teams to guarantee accurate, consistent publishing.
• Adapt publishing plans quickly in response to breaking news, trends, and platform updates.
• Write compelling captions and copy that drive audience interaction while maintaining brand voice.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide insights to improve strategy, engagement, and reach.
• Learn and use scheduling, media library, and content management tools for tagging, organizing, and retrieving assets.
• Identify opportunities to optimise publishing practices and audience engagement.
• Maintain flexible working hours for major events or breaking news.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm for major social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to juggle multiple publishing tasks in a fast‑moving environment while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written communication and ability to craft concise, engaging copy.
• Quick learner of new software, scheduling platforms, and evolving social media practices.
• Comfortable adapting schedule for breaking news or platform changes.
• Self‑motivated and effective when working independently in a fully remote setting.
