Stock Recon Representative

About the role

The Stock Recon Representative supports Cargill's Ag & Trading business by coordinating administrative activities for selected suppliers, customers, and commodity flows. The role focuses on contract execution, inventory planning, and customer service, working closely with local customer service teams, high seas teams, supply chain planners, and logistics partners.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and maintain commodity movement data in the system.
• Monitor contract applications, review failures, and follow up on provisional applications daily.
• Reconcile daily inventory movements across plants and third‑party warehouses, identify and resolve stock differences.
• Declare monthly stock levels to insurance in line with corporate policies.
• Settle shipped and applied commodity contracts.
• Issue sales invoices, validate purchase invoices, and manage finance exceptions.
• Validate service invoices against accruals and purchase orders.
• Enter service accruals, monitor expenses, and report deviations to stakeholders.
• Act as primary contact for supply chain management systems and tools.
• Generate regular reports to support supply chain processes and provide data for local scorecards.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives for contract execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
• Fluent in English and the local language.
• International trade or shipping experience (preferred).
• Relevant supply chain experience (preferred).
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience working with SAP (preferred).
