Technical Writer – Documentation Specialist

About the role

ETAP is looking for a Technical Writer to join its Sofia team. You will create clear, user‑focused documentation that helps customers succeed with ETAP’s electrical engineering software.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain high‑quality end‑user documentation that follows company standards.
• Improve and refine existing content to enhance usability and maintain a consistent tone, structure, and visual style.
• Research product updates, plan documentation needs, and prioritize work accordingly.
• Gather technical information from product teams and translate it into well‑structured, user‑centric content.
• Manage documentation translation projects, ensuring consistent formatting across languages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or linguistic field.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• At least 3 years of technical writing experience, preferably in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong understanding of structured writing and topic‑based authoring methodologies.
