VP Finance

About the role

BlueThorne is a remote‑first company that scales mobile apps across multiple markets. We are seeking a VP Finance to own the financial engine end‑to‑end, partner directly with the founders and leadership team, and ensure decisions are driven by solid financial data.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the group financial model, budget and rolling forecast; turn portfolio‑level app data into actionable unit economics.
• Partner with founders and COO on capital allocation for apps and acquisitions; define and report key performance indicators.
• Lead financial underwriting, due diligence, deal structuring and post‑close integration for acquisition targets.
• Manage relationships with banks and lenders, structure and refinance debt financing, and lead investor board reporting.
• Oversee group consolidation, cash‑flow management, treasury, tax strategy, transfer pricing, VAT, withholding and cross‑border structuring; keep the group audit‑ready.
• Manage and mentor the finance team, expanding the function as the organization scales and fostering a culture of clarity and accountability.

Required profile

• Certified CPA.
• Substantial experience in mobile apps, consumer subscription or tech B2B subscription businesses.
• Proven FP&A and controlling experience across multiple jurisdictions.
