About the role

ABB is looking for a reliable Machine Operator to run a CNC‑controlled punching press. The role involves handling material flow, setting up the machine, and ensuring that produced parts meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload the punching machine with required materials and components.
• Select the appropriate operating mode and input program data into the CNC controller.
• Adjust work parameters such as the number of parts to be produced, and inspect or replace punching tools as needed.
• Perform quality checks on parts before, during, and after machining according to technical drawings and quality‑control instructions.
• Follow all health and safety procedures applicable to the work area.

Required profile

• Technical secondary education is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
• Strong sense of responsibility and execution.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Previous experience in a similar machine‑operator role is a plus.
