Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer – LDAP / Linux

About the role

Accenture is seeking an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to operate and evolve its enterprise‑wide Global Directory (LDAP) platform. Based in Sofia, the role supports daily directory operations, drives automation, and prepares the service for future cloud migration.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and support Global Directory (LDAP) services across multiple environments, including manual data maintenance and user management.
• Perform manual interventions such as copying users between environments and ensuring data consistency.
• Develop, customize and maintain LDAP scripts for reporting, audits, staging and export, adding new attributes and filtering bind/access data.
• Implement schema extensions within defined OID ranges and customize Access Control Instructions (ACIs).
• Troubleshoot LDAP‑related issues and collaborate with international teams to improve service stability and standardisation.
• Support preparation activities for an upcoming cloud migration of the identity platform.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in directory services, identity management or infrastructure/operations engineering.
• Advanced English proficiency (minimum B2).

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with LDAP and Active Directory (LDAP, LDIF, ldapmodify, ldapsearch).
• Strong Linux background with shell scripting for automation and reporting.
• Ability to work in complex, enterprise‑scale production environments.
