Seasonal Kitchen Commis – Bansko, Bulgaria

About the role

Kempinski is seeking a motivated Kitchen Commis for its Bansko resort during the winter season. You will support the culinary team by preparing equipment, ingredients, and simple dishes while maintaining high hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare kitchen equipment and assemble ingredients for menu items.
• Prepare simple food items and assist with food service.
• Support receiving, checking, and storing of goods.
• Maintain storage areas, clean kitchen and equipment, and handle waste and linen.
• Ensure compliance with OH&S, HACCP, and fire safety procedures.
• Attend briefings and participate in training sessions.

Required profile

• Experience in an F&B kitchen environment.
• Good level of English communication.
• Ability to work as part of a team, handle pressure and find proactive solutions.
• Commitment to personal and kitchen hygiene standards.

Required skills

• F&B kitchen experience
• English proficiency
• HACCP knowledge or certification
• Gastronomic education or related certification (preferred)
