Account Manager – Sports Tech (Sofia)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Account Manager to join a leading sports technology company in Sofia. The role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with sports industry clients across Bulgaria and Europe, delivering tailored technology solutions and driving growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with sports clients, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Identify client needs and propose appropriate sports‑tech products and services.
• Coordinate onboarding, training and ongoing support to ensure smooth adoption of platforms.
• Monitor account health, usage metrics and satisfaction, providing regular data‑driven updates.
• Collaborate with product, technical and customer‑success teams to deliver optimal solutions.
• Negotiate renewals, upsell features and pursue organic growth opportunities.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings and emerging sports‑technology innovations.
• Record all interactions in the CRM system in line with data‑protection policies.
• Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management, client relations or sales, preferably in tech, SaaS or sports sectors.
• Strong passion for sport and technology with a customer‑centric mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Highly organized, proactive and results‑driven, capable of handling multiple accounts.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages, especially Bulgarian, are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology or related field (preferred).
