Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to manage and reconcile financial transactions in line with company policies. The role ensures the integrity of accounting information while supporting the finance team in daily operations and periodic closings.

Key responsibilities

• Review, input and control daily entries and transactions, ensuring supporting documents are properly classified.
• Handle, process and track payments based on internal approvals using agreed payment methods.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts accurately.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliation.
• Record and reconcile prepaid and accrued expenses.
• Assist in preparing financial statements according to legal and company guidelines.
• Execute monthly, quarterly and annual closings in a timely manner.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns in accordance with local legislation.
• Oversee daily management and inventory of fixed assets.
• Maintain an organized archive system and reconcile petty cash.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Effective communication, results‑driven mindset and strong teamwork abilities.
