BI Project Manager

About the role

The BI Project Manager leads and actively delivers business‑intelligence reporting initiatives, turning business requirements into scalable, high‑quality reporting solutions. Acting as the bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, the role ensures that reporting outputs are accurate, reliable, and actionable, supporting data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end BI reporting projects from requirements gathering through design, development, deployment and optimisation.
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear technical and reporting specifications.
• Define and contribute to the future state of reporting solutions aligned with the BI strategy.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and reliability across all reporting outputs.
• Establish and manage operational processes such as scheduling, monitoring, validation and issue resolution.
• Act as the primary liaison between business users, reporting developers and data teams.
• Provide expertise on BI tools, support ad‑hoc queries and resolve reporting issues.
• Drive user adoption through training, onboarding and enablement.
• Identify opportunities to standardise, simplify and improve reporting processes and tools.
• Support system upgrades, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives on BI platforms.

Required profile

• Strong experience with BI and reporting tools and a solid understanding of data models, data flows and reporting architectures.
• Proven ability to manage and deliver full‑cycle BI/reporting projects.
• Excellent requirements‑gathering and documentation skills.
• Data‑quality mindset with the ability to validate and ensure reliable reporting.
• Capability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business users.
