Human Resources Assistant (Sofia)

About the role

The Human Resources Assistant will join Awery Aviation Software’s HR team in Sofia, supporting daily HR operations for a fast‑growing aviation and logistics software provider. This full‑time position focuses on employee record management, onboarding and off‑boarding, and delivering timely HR support across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records and update HRIS data.
• Assist with onboarding, off‑boarding, and employee interaction issues.
• Prepare HR‑related documents, reports, and compliance paperwork.
• Administer benefits enrollment, changes, and communications.
• Coordinate training sessions, handling logistics and participation tracking.
• Respond to employee inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Schedule interviews and support recruitment activities.
• Collaborate with HR management and other departments to ensure consistent HR support.

Required profile

• Strong HR and HR management knowledge for day‑to‑day employee relations.
• Experience with HRIS for data entry, reporting, and record maintenance.
• Knowledge of benefits administration and training coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional languages are a plus.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Prior experience in HR or administrative support roles; experience in aviation or software is advantageous.
• Relevant education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Preferably a candidate originally from Ukraine now residing in Sofia.
