Junior HR Generalist

About the role

3E3E is looking for an early‑career HR professional with strong German language skills to join its EMEA HR Operations team in Sofia. You will support German‑based employees throughout the employee lifecycle, handling onboarding, off‑boarding, documentation, and day‑to‑day HR queries while gaining expertise in German employment law.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding activities for employees in Germany.
• Prepare and issue German‑language employment contracts, amendments, reference letters, and other HR communications.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Respond to HR inquiries from employees and managers in German, providing timely, customer‑focused support.
• Support payroll and benefits administration, liaising with German payroll providers, insurance carriers, and other external vendors.
• Ensure compliance with German employment legislation and internal HR policies.
• Research HR topics, document processes, and create/maintain Standard Operating Procedures.
• Leverage AI‑enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT to improve efficiency while protecting confidential information.

Required profile

• Early‑career HR professional with a passion for learning and problem‑solving.
• Fluent in written and spoken German.
• Highly organized, curious, and able to take ownership of tasks.
• Comfortable collaborating with HR, Payroll, Finance, and Legal teams.

Required skills

• German language proficiency (written and spoken).
• Experience with HR documentation and employment contracts.
• Familiarity with German employment legislation.
• Basic proficiency with AI‑enabled productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT).
