Physics Subject Matter Expert – Virtual & 3D Science Labs

About the role

We are looking for a Physics Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design and deliver interactive virtual and 3D physics laboratories. You will transform traditional experiments into engaging digital experiences that enable students to explore phenomena, collect data, and draw conclusions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of SMEs, managing workloads, priorities and content quality.
• Act as the primary liaison between SMEs, product, design, Unity development and learning teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Gather requirements for new content and translate pedagogical needs into actionable tasks.
• Oversee experiment design, UI/UX review, and ensure scientific accuracy and alignment with learning goals.
• Ensure all content complies with accessibility standards such as WCAG.
• Support the full content lifecycle from concept through production readiness.
• Contribute to research proposals, presales activities and strategic partnership documentation.
• Provide expertise for key client engagements, onboarding and implementation guidance.

Required profile

• Strong background in physics and experience creating educational content.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with designers, developers and academic partners.
