Product Development Engineer – Active Entertainment

About the role

Join Walltopia’s Active Entertainment department as a Product Development Engineer. You will be hands‑on from the first sketch to the final build, shaping innovative climbing walls, rope courses, zip lines and other attractions that become destinations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Create 3D models and 2D drawings using AutoCAD and Advance Steel.
• Perform basic structural calculations to validate components, connections and details.
• Prepare production and installation documentation for new and existing products.
• Research new materials, manufacturing solutions and production possibilities.
• Build and test prototypes in real production conditions.
• Estimate costs and support product pricing decisions.
• Prepare technical specifications for subcontractors and support certification processes.
• Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Procurement, Sales and After‑Sales teams.
• Manage tasks through CRM, Smartsheet and other internal platforms.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Advance Steel is a strong advantage.
• Ability to perform basic structural calculations and read engineering details.
• Curiosity about materials, manufacturing processes and product development.
• Organized, detail‑oriented and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
• Fluent communication in English.
