Quality Manager

About the role

Carlsberg Bulgaria is seeking a results‑driven Quality Manager to lead the quality strategy across its breweries in Shumen and Blagoevgrad. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality, food safety, compliance, and continuous improvement while supporting the delivery of world‑class beverages.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve quality initiatives across both brewery locations.
• Monitor, analyse and report quality performance, driving corrective and preventive actions.
• Plan, coordinate and control resources required for the company‑wide Quality Strategy.
• Lead, coach and develop the Quality team through performance management and capability building.
• Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and corporate standards.
• Act as Management Representative for ISO 9001 and HACCP Coordinator.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, supplier assessments, certification activities and customer visits.

Required profile

• University degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Management, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, HACCP, ISO 9001 and ISO 22000.
• Proven experience leading audits, certification processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
