Production Development Engineer

About the role

In this position you will optimise the production organisation’s assembly methods, processes and equipment to minimise labour hours while meeting quality, efficiency, cost and safety targets. You will define new production phase sequences to achieve product cost and equipment investment goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee, analyse and improve manufacturing processes to boost efficiency, stability and performance through continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Provide engineering support to production operations, resolve problems and introduce new technologies and methods.
• Monitor production performance, analyse operational data and deliver structured reports for decision‑making.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, support workforce development, maintain documentation and ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment (advantageous).
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive, solution‑focused attitude.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel abroad to ensure business continuity.
