Retail Category Manager

About the role

Mömax is looking for a motivated Retail Category Manager to join its commercial team at the Sofia head office. You will be responsible for developing and managing a specific product portfolio, ensuring market relevance and profitability across our furniture and living‑solution ranges.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market trends, select new items and develop the product portfolio to create best‑sellers.
• Coordinate deliveries, monitor deadlines and control stock availability for the central warehouse, stores and marketing campaigns.
• Maintain regular communication with partners and suppliers in Bulgaria and abroad, supporting negotiations for optimal terms.
• Manage margins, calculate prices and prepare pricing scales.
• Ensure product data is accurate and up‑to‑date in the warehouse management system.
• Collaborate daily with store managers and supervisors on samples, promotional materials and product‑related topics.

Required profile

• Approximately 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in retail.
• University degree.
• Excellent command of English (B2‑C1); German is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, self‑organisation and attention to detail.
• Positive, responsible and loyal team player who values clear communication.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
