Retail Sales Area Manager

About the role

EKO Bulgaria is seeking a Retail Sales Area Manager to oversee the performance of its network of 102 petrol stations across a designated region. The role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives in a dynamic retail environment and is focused on improving operational results.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operational performance of assigned EKO petrol stations.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Security and Environmental standards.
• Maintain operational and maintenance standards across the network.
• Drive customer service quality and sales performance.
• Analyze sales data, implement actions to boost business results, and optimise operating expenses (OPEX).
• Identify business opportunities, monitor market trends, competitor activity and promotional campaigns.
• Handle customer complaints and support resolution of operational issues.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, coaching and development of station managers.
• Prepare regular business analyses, reports and performance reviews.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the petrol industry, retail or FMCG.
• Strong business acumen, analytical mindset and results‑driven attitude.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills.
• Proactive, flexible and able to work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

• Experience with CRM systems.
• Advanced MS Office proficiency.
