Biosampling Project Manager – Clinical Study Lead

About the role

ICON plc is seeking a Biosampling Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of complex clinical trials in Bulgaria. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality data generation and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day clinical trial activities, focusing on biosample operations and biomarker programs.
• Develop and manage comprehensive study plans, budgets, and timelines.
• Collaborate with investigators, vendors, and internal stakeholders to drive successful study implementation.
• Resolve complex issues during trials using strategic problem‑solving and effective communication.
• Implement robust monitoring and validation processes to maintain data integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare‑related discipline.
• Solid experience in biosample operations, biomarker programs, and sample lifecycle management.
• Extensive background in central laboratory operations and clinical study management.
• Proven project‑management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
