Chief Accountant

About the role

Eurotex, a leader in textile recovery and circular economy solutions, is looking for a Chief Accountant to head its finance function. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with national standards, and supporting the company’s commercial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and oversee the accounting department’s daily activities.
• Perform annual financial closing and prepare annual, interim and consolidated financial statements.
• Monitor and analyse financial documentation to ensure compliance with National Accounting Standards.
• Support commercial operations with sales documentation and related accounting matters.
• Track legislative changes and implement new accounting and tax requirements.
• Maintain communication with auditors, tax authorities, banks and other institutions.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Accounting or Accounting and Control.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chief Accountant.
• Excellent knowledge of tax and social security legislation.
• Strong leadership, analytical mindset and high personal organisation.
• Ability to make independent decisions under pressure and work autonomously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with accounting software (Plus Minus accounting software is a plus).
