DevOps Engineer – Azure & Kubernetes

About the role

Wiser Technology is seeking a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes. You will design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning and ensure reliable operation of cloud‑native applications.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Provision and configure Azure resources, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), VMs, networking and storage.
• Deploy, manage and scale containerised applications on AKS clusters.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
• Develop automation scripts in PowerShell, Python or Bash.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability.
• Apply security best practices across Azure and Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with development teams and participate in on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in DevOps or system administration.
• BS in Computer Science, IT or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in English.
• Optional: Azure certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure services, especially Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Kubernetes and Docker container orchestration.
• CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Infrastructure as Code – Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates.
• Scripting – PowerShell, Python, Bash.
• Monitoring – Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Git version control and cloud networking concepts.
