Field Service Engineer – Solar Energy Solutions

About the role

Huawei is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support solar and energy storage projects across Bulgaria. You will work directly on customer sites, ensuring installations, commissioning and ongoing maintenance meet the highest technical and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform site inspections, technical assessments and supervise on‑site installation and commissioning of photovoltaic (PV) systems.
• Provide troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance for inverters, transformers, substations, low‑voltage and medium‑voltage equipment.
• Coordinate field service resources, liaise with customers, subcontractors and internal engineering teams.
• Deliver technical training to service partners and field technicians.
• Prepare service reports, technical documentation and corrective‑action plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related field.
• Proven experience in field service, commissioning or technical support within the energy sector.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and professional level of English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites across Bulgaria.
