IT Systems Engineer

About the role

Wiser Technology is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join its global IT operations team. You will be responsible for maintaining hardware, network, and security infrastructure while supporting cloud services and collaboration tools across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT hardware (laptops, monitors, docking stations, printers, etc.) and maintain an accurate asset inventory.
• Monitor and maintain local network infrastructure, including LAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, and firewalls, and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Enforce security policies in line with ISO 27001, TISAX and other standards; manage VPNs, MFA, device encryption, and endpoint protection.
• Administer business‑critical applications such as Google Workspace, password managers, and productivity tools.
• Provide user support, onboarding/offboarding, and documentation for IT procedures.
• Support cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams on integration and access.
• Coordinate with vendors, participate in audits, and drive automation and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 3+ years (regular) or 5+ years (senior) experience as a System Administrator, IT Specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of hardware lifecycle management, asset inventory, and compliance documentation.
• Hands‑on experience with LAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, firewalls and network troubleshooting.
