Key Account Manager - Measurement & Analytics

About the role

ABB is looking for a Key Account Manager in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, reporting to the Sales Manager. The role contributes to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics business line and focuses on share-of-wallet growth, profitability and customer satisfaction. The work model is hybrid/remote.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage the account strategy, coordinating daily sales activities, monitoring current projects and resolving customer issues.
• Lead the development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work growth actions.
• Analyse key business drivers and emerging risks (sustainability, digital, cybersecurity) of the global customer's business and turn them into opportunities for ABB.
• Build and expand market presence in Oil & Gas, Water & Wastewater and Power & Energy.
• Take part in developing the account's sales strategy, define sales targets, give input on market price trends and monitor competitor activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a similar field relevant to sales in the Measurement & Analytics industry.
• Several years of successful sales experience and good relationships with customers and key companies in the field.
• Strong interest in a primarily travel-based position, with excellent communication skills in Bulgarian and English and an accurate, well-organised way of working.
• Ability to communicate professionally about Measurement & Analytics products verbally and in writing while protecting proprietary information and intellectual property.
