Logistic Officer

About the role

METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking a Logistic Officer to support the Construction team on the Elhovo project in the Yambol region. You will ensure smooth logistics operations, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate logistics documentation (invoices, shipping documents, delivery notes) and keep records up‑to‑date.
• Track shipments, monitor delivery schedules, and resolve issues with suppliers, carriers, and customs.
• Support inventory management, update records, and report discrepancies.
• Assist in planning and optimizing logistics operations to reduce costs.
• Handle administrative tasks such as phone calls, emails, and meeting scheduling.
• Assist with purchase orders, stock management, and ensure proper storage and movement of goods.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
• 1‑5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in Bulgarian and English.
• Strong desire to learn and grow, excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• High attention to detail, ability to multitask and work effectively in a team.
