Manager Loss & Prevention

About the role

The Manager Loss & Prevention leads the department responsible for safeguarding property assets, employees, and guests. The role ensures compliance with legal and SOP requirements, maintains critical logs and certifications, and drives guest and employee satisfaction while meeting budget targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily security and loss‑prevention operations, including patrols, emergency response and investigations.
• Assist the Director of Engineering with fire‑prevention programs and emergency preparedness.
• Conduct hazard and risk assessments, quarterly OSHA/Safety audits, incident tracking and hazard abatement.
• Develop and enforce shutdown procedures, key‑control guidelines and monthly checklists for CCTV, alarmed doors and duress alarms.
• Handle complaints, disputes and grievances, and implement action plans to monitor and control risk.
• Lead the Accident Prevention Committee, first‑aid program and claims process for General Liability and Workers’ Compensation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of security/loss‑prevention experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Criminal Justice (or related) with 2 years of experience.
