Outside Sales Representative – Residential & Commercial

About the role

ABC Supply, the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, is seeking enthusiastic sales professionals to sell residential and commercial building materials to contractor customers and to build new relationships in the industry.

Key responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage customer relationships.
• Analyze sales reports and buying patterns to identify opportunities.
• Make cold calls and schedule appointments with prospective customers.
• Follow sales leads, provide solutions, and address service concerns.
• Train customers and their teams on product lines and services.
• Assist customers with credit applications.
• Connect with customers to ensure past‑due bills are paid and collect payments when necessary.

Required profile

• College degree in Business, Sales or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass an MVR check.
• Professional appearance and strong interpersonal communication.
• Superior time‑management and organizational skills.
• Industry knowledge of building‑contractor processes is a plus.
