Production Engineer

About the role

ABB is looking for a Production Engineer to support daily production lines for assembly and wiring of low‑voltage compartments. The role involves handling engineering tasks of low to medium complexity on small projects or parts of larger projects.

Key responsibilities

• Process and transform technical documentation such as electrical schematics and mechanical drawings according to customer requirements.
• Support production during project execution, coordinate with designers from other ABB locations, and suggest proactive solutions.
• Assist Planning and SCM teams in preparing RFQs, evaluating technical offers, and consulting suppliers on ABB requirements.

Required profile

• Technical bachelor’s degree, preferably in electrical, mechatronic or automation engineering.
• Proficiency in English and comfortable using MS Office (Excel, Word); SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, TAKT, OEE, problem‑solving methodology, value‑stream mapping) is considered an advantage.
