Sales Engineer

About the role

Our client, a global leader in water management and drainage solutions, is seeking a Sales Engineer for East Bulgaria. The role combines technical expertise with commercial activities to drive project opportunities from tender to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with construction companies, investors, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
• Drive project opportunities from the initial specification and tender phase through successful execution and completion.
• Understand client requirements and propose tailored technical solutions that deliver long‑term value.
• Provide technical guidance and product support to contractors, investors, and project teams.
• Work closely with internal technical and administrative departments to ensure effective project coordination.
• Represent the company during client meetings, site visits, and industry‑related events.

Required profile

• University degree in Civil Engineering, Water Supply & Sewerage Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Previous experience in the construction industry; exposure to working with contractors, investors, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction practices and project execution.
• Commercial mindset with a proactive, solution‑oriented approach.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Good command of English and/or German, willingness to travel within the region and a valid driver’s license.
