Security Architect – Hybrid Role

About the role

Entain is seeking a Security Architect to embed security into its technology platforms and services. This hybrid position works within a small security team to guide architecture, assess risks, and ensure compliance with security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve security‑related change requests (firewall rules, network changes, integrations, third‑party access) within a 3‑day SLA.
• Onboard new projects through a structured intake process, assessing security posture and routing requirements.
• Define and maintain security requirements for domains such as AI, MCP servers, container‑based infrastructure, cloud, document storage and client devices.
• Produce and maintain reference architectures and security requirement documentation.
• Conduct security risk assessments for technology changes, platform decisions and new integrations.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in an information security or cybersecurity role.
• Proven experience as an architect, preferably in security architecture.
• Experience assessing network change requests, including firewall rules, VPN configurations and network segmentation.
