Senior Legal Counsel – Strategic Procurement & Commercial Transactions

About the role

EnduroSat is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to lead strategic procurement and commercial transaction matters. The role focuses on drafting, structuring and negotiating high‑value purchase contracts for hardware, software, services and launch‑related components in a fast‑moving space and defence environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the drafting, review and negotiation of all major procurement contracts, including Master Supply Agreements, framework agreements, purchase orders and statements of work.
• Act as the primary legal negotiator with suppliers, ensuring pricing, delivery schedules, acceptance criteria, warranties, liability, indemnification and termination provisions are clearly defined.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, Finance, Security and Export Control teams to align contractual terms with business objectives and risk appetite.
• Provide legal support for the acquisition of spacecraft hardware, electronic components, launch services, engineering services and critical software/IT systems.
• Ensure contracts contain appropriate quality‑assurance, inspection, testing, supply continuity and change‑management protections.

Required profile

• Law degree with admission to practice in a relevant jurisdiction.
• Significant experience (typically 7+ years) in corporate/commercial law, focusing on procurement and high‑value technology contracts.
• Proven track record of leading complex supplier negotiations in international, regulated industries such as space or defence.
• Strong understanding of export control, security and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
