Senior .NET Software Engineer – Backend APIs

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer you will design, build and maintain backend services and APIs for a range of client projects. You will work closely with cross‑functional scrum teams, ensuring code is readable, maintainable and thoroughly tested.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend services and APIs, including database interaction, with a focus on clean, well‑tested code.
• Integrate third‑party APIs such as payment gateways and produce accompanying documentation.
• Collaborate within a cross‑functional scrum team, contributing expertise to drive project success.
• Advocate engineering best practices and ensure adherence to standards throughout the development lifecycle.
• Design, create, test and document new or amended software using agreed specifications.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of API development using C# .NET/.NET Core, including ORM and dependency injection.
• Experience working with other languages and frameworks such as JavaScript/Node.js, Java/Spring, TypeScript, Scala, Kotlin or Python.
• Enthusiastic about clean code, unit testing and engineering best practices.
• Proven experience in an Agile, cross‑functional development team.
• Background in iGaming projects is a plus.
