Senior Quality Engineering Lead – Billing Transformation

About the role

Lead the quality strategy and modern testing practices for large‑scale billing transformation, guiding a high‑performing Quality Engineering community and collaborating across teams to deliver reliable, automated and customer‑focused solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the quality strategy for major billing modernization and transformation initiatives.
• Build, mentor and support a growing Quality Engineering community with an automation‑first mindset.
• Introduce modern testing approaches using automation, CI/CD, AI‑assisted testing and continuous quality monitoring.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Architects and Product Owners to deliver reliable, scalable and customer‑focused solutions.

Required profile

• Strong experience in software testing, quality assurance and test automation within complex enterprise environments.
• Experience leading testing activities, coaching colleagues and driving quality improvements across teams.
• Hands‑on knowledge of test automation, APIs, databases and CI/CD practices.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for innovation, automation and continuous improvement.
• Experience with cloud‑native platforms, containers and modern engineering practices.
• Knowledge of AI‑powered testing tools and automation frameworks.
• Background in telecommunications, billing or other large‑scale transaction processing environments.
