Supervisor Pharmacovigilance – Safety Reporting

About the role

ICON plc is seeking a Supervisor Pharmacovigilance to lead safety reporting activities for clinical trials and marketed products. You will ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance by managing pharmacovigilance operations and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day pharmacovigilance safety reporting operations, guaranteeing timely and accurate submissions to regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with clinical operations, regulatory affairs and other functions to optimise pharmacovigilance processes.
• Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and internal SOPs for safety reporting.
• Manage the workflow for safety submissions and oversee submissions to regulatory bodies.
• Provide leadership, coaching and training to the pharmacovigilance team, promoting best practices.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy or a related field.
• Proven team‑management skills.
• Solid experience in clinical‑trial or post‑marketing pharmacovigilance.
• Strong knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with the capacity to manage multiple tasks accurately.
